The report on the “Economic impact of competition policy enforcement on the functioning of telecoms markets in the EU” is now online!

The study provides an ex-post evaluation of competition policy enforcement in the telecoms markets and includes a quantitative analysis on the impact of three decisions adopted by the European Commission on telecoms market’s performance.

New technical assistance project on enhancing the system of protection of rights in Serbian Public Procurement Procedure

Lear is pleased to announce that the kick-off meeting for this new technical assistance took place in Belgrade on 9 May 2017.
This project – funded by UK Aid through the EBRD – is the first component of the “Programme for Enhancing Public Procurement Practices in Serbia”. Read more

AGCM finds no infringement in the long-term car rental market

Following a lengthy investigation into the market for long-term car rental services for an alleged breach of article 101, on 30 March 2017 the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) took its final decision, finding no wrongdoing by the companies involved. Read more

Paolo at the ACM CONFERENCE 2016

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) will organize a conference on “Impact Assessment of Interventions of Competition and Consumer Authorities”. The conference will take place in Amsterdam on November 16, 2016. Over the last years, government and market authorities devoted particular attention to impact assessment, a tool which can enable them to learn from past interventions and improve future ones.
