Data Analyst

Lear is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the delivery of economic consulting projects through data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

The role envisages:

  • collecting and organizing data from external sources to support consulting projects;
  • supporting the definition of empirical strategies by identifying research questions, relevant data sources, variables, and the most appropriate quantitative methodologies;
  • cleaning, validating, and updating datasets;
  • carrying out descriptive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and key quantitative insights.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Previous experience, even if limited, in data analysis or similar roles will be considered an asset. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Stata, and Python is required, while knowledge of R will be considered a plus.

This position is reserved for candidates belonging to the protected categories pursuant to Article 1 of Italian Law 68/99.

The position can be full-time or part-time, is based in Rome, and includes a flexible work-from-home policy.

Economist

Lear is looking for a talented Economist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of applied economic consulting projects in the fields of competition and regulation.

The role envisages:

  • conducting desk research and collecting economic and regulatory information;
  • cleaning and analysing economic and statistical data;
  • contributing to reports and project deliverables;
  • interacting with clients and supporting consultancy projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Economics, with a focus on microeconomics and/or industrial organization. Previous experience in economic consulting or competition/regulatory authorities will be considered an asset, while a Ph.D. in Economics (completed or near completion) is also welcomed. Advanced knowledge of Stata is required, while Python and R will be considered a plus.
