Silvia Caporale joined Lear in 2009 as Communication and Events Manager.
She oversees the company’s marketing and communication strategies, manages the organization of international conferences and workshops, and plays a key role in human resources management.
Among her notable achievements is the successful leadership of the Lear Conference, a prestigious international event that brings together leading academics and professionals to discuss cutting-edge economic issues in competition law.
Since 2021, Silvia has been the driving force behind the Lear Competition Festival (LCF), a vibrant, three-day international event that builds on the legacy of the Lear Conference. The LCF serves as a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing and networking within the antitrust community, emphasizing the central role of economics in competition policy and encouraging fresh dialogue on emerging challenges and tools.
With a strong background in both B2B and B2C event planning, Silvia has extensive experience in designing, promoting, and managing events from concept to execution. She is highly skilled at integrating traditional and digital marketing strategies to enhance visibility and engagement and has collaborated with various press offices in Rome to maximize media outreach.
Before joining Lear, Silvia led marketing and communication activities for a startup incubator in the telecommunications and IT sectors, an initiative launched by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” She also worked as an account manager for multimedia projects created for museums, cultural exhibitions, theme parks, and hospitality venues. Earlier in her career, she served as Managing Director of a market research company.
Silvia holds a degree in Economics from the University of Naples “Federico II”, a Master’s in General Management from ISTUD, and a Master’s in Digital Marketing and Communication from the Business School of Il Sole 24 Ore.
