Livia Baccari is a Junior Consultant at Lear where she has been involved in a range of projects related to antitrust, policy assessments, technical assistance and capacity building. She has contributed to studies commissioned by the European Commission and her work also includes supporting competition authorities in Albania and Armenia through training activities, drafting of secondary legislation and sector inquiries. Additionally, she has provided analytical support in litigation, merger, and abuse of dominance cases across various sectors such as audiovisual football rights, concrete, banking and retail.
She holds a Master of Science in Specialized Economic Analysis – Public Policy from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and is currently pursuing further academic training in economics at Humboldt University in Berlin. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, which included a semester abroad at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
She is native Italian, fluent in English, advanced in German, fair in French and Spanish.
