Francesca Delfini

Research Assistant

Francesca Delfini is a Research Assistant at Lear from March 2024. In 2022 she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Roma Tre, and she is currently enrolled in a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome. At the beginning of 2024, she did an academic internship as a Research Assistant at the University of Tor Vergata in the field of Microeconomics, mainly focusing on Contract Theory and Mechanism Design.
The research project focused on studying the basic models and results of competition in auctions, confronting the empirical findings with the results of the theoretical benchmark and identifying the role of reserve prices. During the intern she developed methodological skills related to the analysis of incomplete information games and knowledge about competing mechanisms, both theoretically and empirically grounded.
