Save the date | The Lear Lisbon Talk on Competition & Regulation

Competition enforcement and regulation in Portugal and across Europe are evolving rapidly under the goal of ensuring fair and competitive markets while supporting growth and innovation. The importance of recognising and assessing the multidimensional effects of Article 102 infringements on affected parties and market dynamics and the challenges affecting the continued liberalisation of regulated sectors, have highlighted the need for a discussion between authorities, courts, operators and practitioners.

📍 On 29 June 2026 at 14:30 CET, Lear will host an event in Lisbon for the Portuguese competition and regulatory community to discuss the latest developments on these areas.

🎙️ In the first part, leading voices from academia, legal practice, competition law associations and the media will discuss how to effectively strengthen private enforcement under Article 102 TFEU.

In the second part, representatives from business associations and sector regulators will discuss the challenges associated with advancing liberalisation in regulated sectors and ensuring the effective delivery of its expected benefits, with a particular focus on energy, telecommunications and other key sectors in Portugal and across Europe.
