Lear, together with Prometeia, has been selected by the European Commission to carry out a study on the effects of the Guarantee Notice. The project will involve the collection of information on guarantee measures granted by Member States and an assessment of the effects of such guarantees. Have guarantees improved access to credit? Has the Guarantee Notice been successful in avoiding undue advantages and reducing distortions of competition? How cost-efficient were the different measures? We will aim to answer all these questions (and more) with our study.
