Julie Iskandar is a Research Assistant at Lear. She graduated in December 2022 from a Master of Science (MSc) in Economic and Social Sciences at Bocconi University with a thesis analysing the European Union’s emergency intervention to tackle the energy crisis. During her MSc, she did an internship in Montreal at the Economic and Financial division of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, the second-largest pension fund in Canada.
In 2020, she completed her Trilingual Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at HEC Montreal. During this period, she spent one semester abroad at the University of Pacífico in Peru as an exchange student. She also did an internship at Boston Scientific in the Marketing and Sales division.
Her research interests are in the area of Industrial Organization, Competition Policy and Auctions/Procurement.
Julie is fluent in French and English and fair in Spanish.
