Cristiana Vitale - Lear


Cristiana is a senior consultant at Lear. She joined the company in 2005. Previously, she spent seven years working in the UK, first as a consultant at London Economics and then as an economic advisor for Oftel/OFCOM and OFT. In these roles Cristiana contributed to major regulatory interventions in the telecoms and media sector and to the implementation of the EU Directives on the telecoms markets. She was also involved in many competition cases, market reviews and market studies. Since her joining Lear, Cristiana has advised clients on a number of cases of cartels and abuses of dominance, as well as on mergers and assessments of damages, in a variety of sectors, assisting, among others, ENI, RTI, Shell, Unilever, Wind, and Procter. She has also has managed two studies for the EU Commission, a study on the ex-post evaluation of two mergers for the UK Competition Commission and a study on the policy implications of price relationship agreements for the UK Office of Fair Trading. Cristiana graduated magna cum laude in Economics at Bocconi University and has a MSc from the London School of Economics.
