Alberto HEIMLER


Chairman of a OECD competition Working Group 2.
He is a director for Research and International Relations of the Italian Competition Authority in Rome.
He was a member of dispute settlement panel on “Canada: Term of patent protection” within the World Trade Organization panel in Geneva. He has been Vice-Chairman of the OECD “Committee on Competition Law and Policy” and Chairman of the Working Party, “Competition and Regulation” since 1994.
He is also visiting professor of industrial economics at numerous Italian universities. He is an author of many specialized articles and several monographs on protection of competition questions. He is a member of Italian Association of Economists.

He graduated in Economics at University of Florence, Italy and at School of Business of New York University, USA.
