Paolo Buccirossi at the Competition Authority of Kenya

The next 8 December Paolo will participate in a workshop at the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) and present a report titled “Dismantling Regulatory Obstacles to Competition to Unlock Growth Potential in Kenya”.

This report was prepared as part of a cooperation agreement between the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and the CAK.

This study draws on extensive economic literature and success stories from countries where a reduction of regulatory obstacles to competition led to significant economic improvements in the form of economic growth, productivity growth, and export competitiveness. The report also supports advocacy actions of the CAK to foster competitive markets in the country.
